On January 1st, 2016 Guest Artistic Director GREGORY MOSHER announced the titles of the three Award-winning musicals that will be featured in participating MainStreet Festivals.
TILL by Leo Schwartz and DC Cathro
Based on true events, "TILL" tells the story of Emmett Till, a young black boy growing up in Chicago who makes a fateful trip to Money, Mississippi, where he is lynched for “whistling at a white woman.” In the end, his mother Mamie’s powerful love ensures the world never forgets.
